The Small Business Development Center Opens Office in Pasco County

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of South Florida (USF) is pleased to welcome Jerry Karp as certified business analyst at the newest SBDC office in Pasco county. In this position, Jerry will provide one-on-one counseling to new and existing business owners in the area.

?We are very excited to have Jerry join the team,? said Eileen Rodriguez, Small Business Development Center regional manager. ?His expertise in business, especially marketing and sales, is a great asset to the company.?

Jerry brings an array of experience to the SBDC. For 13 years, he owned a business that specialized in selling business to business. When it was sold to a large corporation, he remained at the company for seven years as manager.

Prior to owning his business, he worked in upper management at two successful audio/visual companies. At one, he was the executive vice president of sales and marketing and at the other, CEO. In addition, he has more than 30 years experience selling to both commercial and government accounts.

Jerry?s office will be in the Pasco County Economic Development Council (PEDC) building, located at 16506 Pointe Village Dr., Suite 101, Lutz, FL 33558-5255.
